Adopt a “Noob” challenge

Remember your first days, weeks or even months in SL? Remember how you met people that helped you along the way or how you wish you had met those people!?

I want to challenge you all to reach out and help a newer resident. Show them around, use your network to introduce them to stores, places to explore and introduce them to the tons of events. I remember the first time someone told me about The Dressingroom and Fifty Linden Friday! OMG I was so happy!  :)

I was checking out a store named Abranimations, because I was told they have funny games & gadgets (and they do have that so go look!) and I met a kind resident who was also there for the first time. I challenged him to demo the tarot reading table with me and we started talking. He seemed nice and easy to talk to so I decided to help him out a bit.  I dragged him around a few stores that have great free groupgifts and I explained to him how he could edit his profile some more. I got him his first AO, because serieusly we all NEED one! We became friends and I ended up taking a quick picture to show him what I love doing in SL. Check out the picture on my Flickr here!

I started having fun, seeing how thankful he was with the help so I contacted some of my designer friends and asked them to help me give my new friend a full make-over.  Koaz Boa and LelenyLoka Demonia of Akeruka reached out and helped me with an amazing skin & shape!   For his outfit I took him shopping at FaMeshed and sweet Cracked Mirror wanted to help too and send him her new mesh pants!  Now doesn’t he look handsome?
